Make Sure You and Your Clients Are Counted in the 2020 Census!

Good Afternoon!

Some of you may be familiar with me as one of the members of Montgomery County’s Interfaith Coalition who helped facilitate and participated on a panel discussion held in October 2019. I also serve as a County liaison with the MontcoPACounts committee which is the subject of my email to you today.

As trusted messengers in your community, it is crucial that you are informed about the impact that a complete and accurate census count will have to your community.

« Did you know that, Pennsylvania ranks 2nd highest at risk in the Nation to be undercounted!! The Census is linked to funding for critical needs such as Medicaid, SNAP (food stamps), school food programs, Head Start for children, and highway construction, to name just a few.

Attached are digital files of promotional materials we have available to share with your network and members. Could you set a stack sitting in your entrances and lobbies or include them as bulletin inserts? Let me know if you’d like some delivered to you and we’ll make that happen! Also attached is a listing of the Champion Training events open to anyone, no need to RSVP. Please share with anyone who may be interested.

I thank you in advance for taking the time to read this information and anything you can do to spread the word in the community on the impact of the 2020 Census if we are undercounted.

With regards,

Elizabeth DiArcangelo
