Montgomery County has embarked on a process to restructure the health and human services departments with the objective to ‘integrate to provide optimal service to their constituents.’ Through this process, they engaged county and department leadership, county staff, external stakeholders and consumers.
As a result of this work, the Commissioners approved a new structure for Health and Human Services for Montgomery County. The attached presentation outlines the considerations for these changes, the new structure and a description of how this structure will function. In the coming weeks, you will see the county take steps to move toward this new structure. We anticipate the implementation to take from 6 months to a year as we want to be as deliberate and inclusive in the implementation process as we were with the planning process.
This guide will tell you what you need to know about all the health clinics offered by Abington Jefferson Health.
